Sometimes this sort of work gives you the opportunity to work in the most inspiring places. It can be hot. It requires OH&S to be given the utmost importance but it is worth it.
This contract at Marks Park, South Bondi for Waverley Council required removal and stabilisation of a slope above the main pedestrian walk between Bondi and Bronte.
In addition to the removal of Mirror Bush (Coprosma repens) and various grasses the contract required the stabilisation of the area above with sandstone blocks. As well 200 tonnes of crushed sandstone recycled from the Kings Cross tunnel were spread across a steep slope before planting with tubestock of native species including Banksia ericfolia, B. Integrifolia, Leptospermum laevigatum and other suitable species for this coastal location.
